Five receptions Sunday Conklin had five receptions for 40 yards on five targets in Sunday's 26-14 loss to Tampa Bay.
Impact Conklin played a season-high 45 snaps with Kyle Rudolph sidelined with a foot injury. He played more snaps than Irv Smith (28), but that may be only because Smith was coming back after missing two games with a back injury. Conklin could continue to be part of the passing game if Rudolph is out another week, but it won't be a surprise if Smith overtakes him for playing time.

Gains 10 yards in win Conklin caught his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win against the Jaguars.
Impact With Irv Smith (back) inactive, Conklin logged a season-high 59 snaps on offense (65 percent), landing just five snaps shy of Kyle Rudolph, who finished with no receptions on two targets. Conklin's getting plenty of usage when Smith is out of the lineup. If Smith returns in Week 14 against the Buccaneers, Conklin will shift back to a reserve role.

Impact Conklin moved up the depth chart with Irv Smith (groin) sidelined and made his first couple receptions of the campaign. Should Smith remain out Sunday versus the Cowboys, Conklin would figure to assume a similar role, boosting his value despite his still-restricted ceiling.
