Different team, same production Conklin caught two of four targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Dolphins. He had 58 catches on 87 targets for 552 yards and three touchdowns in 2022.
Impact An offseason move from Minnesota to New York had a minimal impact on Conklin's stats, as he posted a near carbon copy of his 2021 season with the Vikings. In the first season of his three-year contract with the Jets, Conklin had the same number of targets and touchdowns while totaling three fewer catches and 41 fewer yards than his final year in Minnesota. The 27-year-old tight end finished second on the team behind rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson in receiving yards, albeit with half of Wilson's total.

Impact The tight end was the only one of Mike White's targets to have any kind of success -- no other Jet had more than three catches, and Corey Davis' 45 receiving yards was second on the team. Impact Conklin put forth a respectable showing in quarterback Mike White's season debut, highlighted by a 29-yard catch in the third quarter on an accurate delivery from White. The entire Jets passing game looked as good as it has all season with White under center, which bodes well for Conklin's outlook moving forward. The tight end has a revenge game on tap in Week 13 against the Vikings team with which Conklin spent his first four seasons before joining the Jets via free agency this past offseason.

Impact Quarterback Zach Wilson threw for just 77 yards, so Conklin was far from the only Jets skill position player to put forth an underwhelming performance in this one. The 27-year-old tight end has 35 catches for 331 yards through 10 games with the Jets. In Week 12, he'll face a Bears team that held Conklin to his two lowest yardage totals of the season (seven and six) when he was with the Vikings last year.
