Improves as pass rusher in 2021 Bowser (ankle) finished 2021 with 59 tackles, 7.0 sacks and two forced fumbles over 17 games. Impact The 2017 second-round selection continued to be a valuable part of the Baltimore defense in 2021. Bowser led the team in sacks with seven, which also marked a career high. He was billed as a pass-rush specialist coming out of Houston but hadn't tapped into that at the NFL level until this season. Bowser was also an asset in coverage, allowing just 110 yards on 15 routes defended, though that was a step back from his 2020 numbers, when he allowed 50 yards on 10 routes defended. Baltimore extended Bowser in March of 2021 and he projects to be a significant part of the defense yet again next season.
