DeAndre Carter - Could see bump in playing time Coach Ron Rivera said Carter will get more playing time on offense Sunday against the Saints, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Impact The absences of Dyami Brown (knee) and Cam Sims (hamstring), coupled with uncertainty over the health of Curtis Samuel (groin), should open up more opportunities for Carter behind Terry McLaurin and Adam Humphries. Though Carter has previously struggled to make much of an impact in the NFL, he's off to a strong start this season in a special teams capacity, as he was named NFC special teams player of the week after scoring a 101-yard kickoff return touchdown against the Falcons. Now, the 28-year-old wide receiver could get more opportunities to utilize his shiftiness on offense while still maintaining a prominent special teams role.
