The team doesn't believe it is a long-term issue, but severe enough to keep him out the last three weeks of the season. Anzalone will be a free agent if the Lions don't sign him to a new deal before March, and he has had shoulder issues in the past that could impact his market in the offseason, Burke separately reports.
