Cornell Powell - Staying in SeattleThe Seahawks signed Powell to a reserve/future contract Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

ImpactPowell ended the season on the Seahawks' practice squad after being cut by the Chiefs on Oct. 22. He last saw NFL regular-season action in 2022 with Kansas City, during which he played 31 snaps (three on offense, 28 on special teams) across three games but didn't show up on the box score otherwise.

ImpactIt was a strong finish to the regular season for the Rams' rookie kicker, as he set a season-long with a 58-yard field goal to close the first half. He opened the second half with another lengthy kick of 57 yards, and tacked on a pair of shorter field goals and a PAT to close out a perfect performance. For the season, Karty was 29-for-34 on field goals and 32-for-36 on PAT's, and he'll look to ride the positive momentum of the latter portion of the season into a Wild Card Weekend matchup with the Vikings.

Tutu Atwell - Leads team in targetsAtwell secured five of eight targets for 37 yards during Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Seahawks.

ImpactThe impending unrestricted free agent's role on offense picked up considerably with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp earning the day off, but Atwell wasn't able to do much with his sudden bevy of targets. Taking out a 22-yard catch in the first quarter, Atwell's other four catches combined for just 15 yards, while Jordan Whittington and Demarcus Robinson combined for 158 yards on their six catches. During the 2024 regular season Atwell recorded 42 catches for 562 yards, both career highs, but failed to record a touchdown for the first time since his rookie campaign. Heading into a Wild Card Weekend showdown with the Vikings, Atwell is likely to revert to his minimal role on offense.
