NFL Week 2: Chiefs comfortable winning ugly; what we learned from every Sunday game
Austin Hooper - One catch against SeattleHooper, who was on the field for 37 of the Patriots' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught his only target for fiv...
ImpactThe Patriots ran a fair amount of two-TE sets Sunday, but Hunter Henry (57 snaps, eight catches) was QB Jacoby Brissett's featured target in Week 2. As long as Henry remains available, Hooper's fantasy upside will remain modest.

JaMycal Hasty - One carry SundayHasty was on the field for three of the Patriots' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactHasty, who also logged 10 special-teams snaps, carried once for two yards in the contest. He's off the fantasy radar as long as Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson remain healthy.

Tyquan Thornton - No targets in Week 2Thornton logged 31 of 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactThornton, who was out-snapped by K.J. Osborn (51 snaps), Ja'Lynn Polk (41 snaps) and DeMario Douglas (38 snaps), was not targeted in the contest. As Thursday night's game against the Jets approaches, the 2022 second-rounder is only a lineup option in the deepest of formats.

DeMario Douglas - Not targeted SundayDouglas, who logged 38 of 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, was not targeted in the contest.
ImpactDouglas' quiet Week 2 effort occurred in a game in which just five of QB Jacoby Brissett's 27 passing attempts went to wide receivers, with Ja'Lynn Polk (41 snaps) seeing three targets and K.J. Osborn (51 snaps) logging two, per Zack Cox of the Boston Herald. Afterward, coach Jerod Mayo acknowledged that getting Douglas more involved needs to be a priority for the Patriots ahead of Thursday's game against the Jets, noting "we have to get him going. We have to scheme up some things for him. He's one of our most explosive players, and that's on us as coaches to put it together." However, until such an approach results in added targets for Douglas, the 2023 sixth-rounder will be a hit-or-miss lineup option.

Ja'Whaun Bentley - Could play Thursday nightThe Patriots are optimistic that Bentley (shoulder) will play in Thursday night's contest against the Jets, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactBentley sustained a shoulder injury during the first quarter of the Patriots' Week 2 loss and didn't return. However, it now appears that the 28-year-old's injury isn't serious, and he could very well play Thursday night. Bentley's return would be significant for the Patriots' divisional matchup with the Jets in Week 3, as he racked up 12 total tackles, including 0.5 sacks, during New England's Week 1 upset over the Bengals.

K.J. Osborn - One catch versus SeattleOsborn, who was on the field for 51 of the Patriots' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's overtime 23-20 loss to the Seahawks, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught one of his two targets...
ImpactOsborn and Ja'Lynn Polk (41 snaps) started at wide receiver for the Patriots in Week 2, while DeMario Douglas (38 snaps) and Tyquan Thornton (31 snaps) were also in the mix. Going forward, there will be weeks in which Osborn and his fellow WRs will be more involved, but against the Seahawks at least, New England's offense was pace by the run game, with tight end Hunter Henry (eight catches on 12 targets) serving as QB Jacoby Brissett's top target.
