Little time for Seahawks to make fixes after 2 straight losses with 49ers coming to town

The Seattle Seahawks have no time to dwell on Sunday's 29-20 loss to the visiting New York Giants

D.J. Davidson - Records first full sacks of careerDavidson tallied two tackles -- both of which were sacks -- in Sunday's 29-20 win over Seattle in Week 5.
ImpactDavidson logged just a half-sack over his first 20 regular-season NFL games after entering the league in 2022, so his performance Sunday was a bit unexpected. Both of the defensive end's sacks came in a tight second half -- he brought down Geno Smith on a first-down play in the third quarter to help limit the Seahawks to a field goal, then took Smith down again with under a minute left in the fourth as Seattle attempted to mount a final rally. Davidson logged 33 percent of New York's defensive snaps Sunday, which is in line with the workload he has handled overall through the first five weeks of the campaign.

After an 0-2 start, the Giants are showing signs of being a better team than last year

After dropping their first two games, the New York Giants are showing signs they might be a better team than a year ago when they disappointed fans posting a 6-11 record

Greg Joseph - Makes three field goals Week 5Joseph converted all three of his field-goal tries and both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 29-20 victory versus Seattle.
ImpactNone of Joseph's FG tries were very challenging -- his longest was from 38 yards out -- but he did his job well by coming through each time he was called upon. After missing his lone field-goal attempt Week 3 in his first game with New York, Joseph has since gone 8-for-8 on FG tries while making both of his extra-point attempts over his next two contests. The Giants offense has been able to push the ball down the field while struggling to get into the end zone in recent contests, which presents an ideal opportunity for Joseph to rack up points for fantasy managers.

Theo Johnson - Records best game as proJohnson caught all five of his targets for 48 yards in a 29-20 Week 5 win against the Seahawks on Sunday.
ImpactJohnson has worked as New York's starting tight end since the beginning of the season, but through four weeks he had only three catches (on eight targets) for 37 yards. The rookie exceeded his collective Weeks 1-4 reception and yardage totals in Week 5 on Sunday, finishing third on the Giants in targets, catches and receiving yards. His long gain was a 22-yard catch that set New York up in the red zone on a drive that finished with a Wan'Dale Robinson touchdown reception. Johnson's quiet first four games kept him off the fantasy radar, but managers in need of a tight end may want to keep an eye on him moving forward to see if Johnson can build upon Sunday's performance and establish further rapport with QB Daniel Jones.
