Matt Prater - Chance to play Week 7Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that Prater (hip) was not ruled out for Thursday's game versus the Saints, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactPrater did not participate in Monday's estimated practice after sitting out Arizona's last two games with right hip soreness. However, the 38-year-old may be nearing a return in Week 7, as the Cardinals also cut fill-in kicker Matt Ammendola on Monday. Prater made all 10 of his kicking attempts through the first four games of the season, though he did not attempt a field goal until Week 3. Now, with DeAndre Hopkins set to return from suspension and with the trade acquisition of Robbie Anderson, Prater could see more scoring opportunities in Arizona's offense moving forward.

Byron Murphy Jr. - Records five tackles in Week 6Murphy tallied five tackles and one pass defense during Sunday's 19-9 defeat in Seattle.
ImpactAfter opening the season with just 10 tackles through the first four games, Murphy has made a much bigger impact in the box score the last two contests, with 14 total stops and a half sack. Along with safety Jalen Thompson, Murphy has played all but one defensive snap on the campaign to lead the Cardinals, and Thompson (hamstring, DNP) was included on Monday's practice estimate ahead of Thursday's outing versus the Saints, so Murphy could be in line for additional opportunities in the short term.

Budda Baker - Six more tackles SundayBaker compiled six tackles and one quarterback hit during Sunday's 19-9 defeat at Seattle.
ImpactDespite tying his second-lowest tackle tally of the campaign, Baker continues to lead the Cardinals in stops with 45, just ahead of inside linebacker Zaven Collins (41) and fellow safety Jalen Thompson (40). Both Collins (shoulder, limited) and Thompson (hamstring, DNP) showed up on Monday's estimated injury report, so Baker could be poised for even more opportunities Thursday versus the Saints if either of those players are limited or sidelined.

Zaven Collins - Still dealing with shoulder injuryCollins (shoulder) was listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ImpactDuring Sunday's 19-9 loss in Seattle, Collins went off for nine tackles, including two sacks, and he now ranks second on the Cards in terms of tackles (41) behind safety Budda Baker (45) through six games. Collins has been dealing with a shoulder issue since a Week 3 matchup against the Rams, but he's proceeded to earn 100 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the team's last three contests. He'll look to ditch his injury designation ahead of Thursday's outing against the Saints.

Matt Prater - Logs DNPPrater (hip) was a non-participant on the Cardinals' estimated practice report Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ImpactPrater has missed the last two weeks due to the injury, and although he was an estimated DNP, the team cut Matthew Ammendola on Monday, who had been his replacement during the absences. So, it's pretty unclear whether the Cardinals believe Prater will be kicking for them come Thursday when they host the Saints, especially since they haven't signed another kicker yet.
