John Gibson - Out Friday Gibson (undisclosed) will not be available Friday against the Kraken, Derek Lee of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Impact Gibson was not expected to start Friday anyway, but now Alex Stalock will serve as Lukas Dostal's backup. Gibson went 0-6-0 with a brutal 5.54 GAA in March and hasn't won a game since Feb. 29. His status for Sunday's tilt with the Blues is uncertain.

Pavel Mintyukov - Still considered day-to-day Mintyukov (lower body) remains day-to-day and won't be available against Seattle on Friday, per NHL.com.
Impact Mintyukov will be out of action for his third straight game due to his lingering lower-body issue. In his rookie campaign, the blueliner has generated four goals on 88 shots, 24 assists and seven power-play points while averaging 18:51 of ice time in 63 outings. Radko Gudas will rejoin the lineup after recovering from an upper-body injury of his own.

Lukas Dostal - Starting against Seattle Dostal will be between the home pipes versus Seattle on Friday, Alyson Lozoff of Bally Sports West reports.
Impact Dostal picked up the win Tuesday, turning aside 20 shots in a 5-3 victory over Calgary. The 23-year-old netminder is 12-21-2 with one shutout, a 3.44 GAA and an .899 save percentage for the lowly Ducks this season. The Kraken have scored 199 goals this season, 29th in the NHL.

Radko Gudas - Good to play Friday Gudas (upper body) is set to play Friday against Seattle, per Alyson Lozoff of Bally Sports West.
Impact Gudas is drawing back into the lineup for the first time since March 14. He has six goals, 16 points, 124 PIM, 213 hits and 142 blocks in 60 outings in 2023-24. Gudas' return will likely lead to William Lagesson being a healthy scratch Friday.

Impact McTavish sustained the injury against Calgary on Tuesday. McTavish was expected to have a big season, after scoring 17 times and adding 26 assists in 80 games as a 19-year-old in 2022-23, but he just improved slightly with 19 tallies and 26 assists in 64 games before the injury. The Ducks recalled Nikita Nesterenko from AHL San Diego on Friday and he is expected to enter the lineup Friday.

Max Jones - Not expected back Friday Jones (upper body) is slated to miss Friday's clash with Seattle, per Derek Lee of The Sporting Tribune.
Impact It will be Jones' sixth consecutive game on the shelf due to his upper-body issue. Prior to getting hurt, the 26-year-old winger was stuck in an eight-game goal drought during which he registered 13 shots, 12 hits and three assists. Nikita Nesterenko, who was called up from the minors Friday, could be pressed into service versus the Kraken.

Nikita Nesterenko - Recalled from AHL Nesterenko was called up from AHL San Diego on Friday, according to Derek Lee of The Sporting Tribune.
Impact Nesterenko has spent the entire season in the at the AHL level, scoring 15 goals while adding 18 assists in 63 appearances. He played nine games with the Ducks last season -- after finishing three seasons at Boston College -- scoring once at the NHL level. He could play Friday versus Seattle, as Mason McTavish is questionable with a lower-body injury.

Impact Pitre will presumably make the jump to the AHL next season, but at this point it's hard to say whether or not he'll see any NHL action in 2024-25. The 2023 third-round pick racked up 27 goals and 55 points through 55 games with the OHL's Flint Firebirds in 2023-24.

Impact Sidorov has 50 goals, 88 points and 66 PIM in 66 contests with WHL Saskatoon this season. He was selected with the No. 85 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Impact LaCombe led the Ducks with 23:13 of ice time, and he helped out on Alex Killorn's second goal of the game. The assist snapped a six-game point drought for LaCombe. The 23-year-old defenseman hasn't regularly gotten on the scoresheet, picking up 14 points through 65 outings this season. He's added 52 shots on net, 117 blocked shots and a minus-25 rating, though he's often played a top-four role when in the lineup.
