John Gibson - Starting in Edmonton Gibson will defend the road net Saturday versus the Oilers, according to Derek Lee of The Sporting Tribune.

Nico Myatovic - Secures entry-level deal Myatovic inked a three-year, entry-level contract with Anaheim on Friday.

Impact Myatovic -- who was selected by the Ducks with the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft -- has put together a decent season with WHL Seattle, putting up nine goals and 21 assists despite playing in just 34 games. The 19-year-old winger probably won't make the full-time jump to the NHL next season but is a youngster for fantasy players to keep an eye on.

Urho Vaakanainen - Picks up assist Thursday Vaakanainen registered a shorthanded assist in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Vaakanainen helped out on an Isac Lundestrom tally early in the third period. With four helpers over 12 appearances in March, Vaakanainen has put together a solid month for a depth defenseman. He's at 14 points, 63 shots on net, 74 blocked shots, 44 hits and 24 PIM through 62 appearances this season, though he's no guarantee to be in the lineup every game.

Isac Lundestrom - Tallies shortie Thursday Lundestrom scored a shorthanded goal, added four hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Lundestrom scored the first of two goals on the same penalty kill early in the third period. The tally was Lundestrom's first point in March, ending a 13-game slump. The 24-year-old forward is up to five goals, two helpers, 29 shots on net, 40 hits, 18 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 37 appearances. He has six career shorthanded goals, all of which have come over the last three seasons.

Jakob Silfverberg - Two shorthanded points in loss Silfverberg scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Both of Silfverberg's points came shorthanded -- in fact, they were on the same penalty kill. This was his first multi-point effort since Jan. 25. He has three points over three contests since he snapped a 13-game slump. The veteran winger has 19 points, 95 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 72 outings in a bottom-six role this season.

Lukas Dostal - Gives up four goals in loss Dostal stopped 24 of 28 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Dostal has allowed 10 goals over his last four outings, going 1-2-1 in that span. The 23-year-old at least got some goal support Thursday, but he was unable to protect the 2-1 lead the Ducks established early in the third period. He's now at 11-20-2 with a 3.47 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 37 appearances on the year. The Ducks have a back-to-back with games in Edmonton on Saturday and Vancouver on Sunday, so both Dostal and John Gibson are goalies to avoid this weekend.

Impact Dostal will get the second game of the Ducks' two-game set in Seattle. John Gibson was on the receiving end of a 4-0 shutout loss on Tuesday. Dostal is just 1-3-1 over his last six appearances with 16 goals allowed on 138 shots in that span, though the Kraken's offense is hardly a threatening one.
