Impact McBain reached the 10-assist mark on the season when he set up Logan Cooley's third-period tally. The 24-year-old McBain has gone 18 games without a goal, and he's picked up six assists with 50 hits and 20 PIM in that span. He's seen some top-line usage, but Barrett Hayton or Cooley figure to be better suited for that role in the long run. McBain has 16 points, 33 shots on net, 35 PIM and 102 hits through 37 outings this season.

His chances to produce points are likely to be limited as long as he remains in a bottom-six role.

He'll have a chance to stake his claim to the No. 1 job in goal with Ingram expected to miss 7-10 days. Vejmelka is winless in his last seven outings, allowing 23 goals in that span. For the season, he has a 3.36 GAA and a .900 save percentage over 23 appearances (19 starts). The Coyotes' next game is a tough one at home versus the Hurricanes on Friday.

Connor Ingram - Avoids major injury Ingram's undisclosed injury from Wednesday's game versus the Wild is expected to keep him out for 7-10 days, Patrick Brown of the Coyotes' official site reports.

Impact Ingram didn't play in the third period Wednesday, and now he'll be sidelined for a short time. Karel Vejmelka will likely get a majority of the playing time while Ingram is out, while Matt Villalta could be brought up from AHL Tucson to serve as backup.

He's earned five points, 30 shots on net, 47 blocked shots, 31 hits and a minus-11 rating through 35 outings. Dermott's role is a defensive one, so he's not much of an option for fantasy managers.

Impact Zucker has five points over three games since the All-Star break. It's not great that he was listed on the fourth line Monday, but he's still finding ways to contribute despite a shrinking role. The 32-year-old winger has 22 points, 86 shots on net, 49 hits, 48 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 41 outings overall. Zucker figures to be the first to move up the lineup if there's an injury to another winger.

Dumba's offense has been extremely limited in his first year with the Coyotes -- he's at six points, 50 shots on net and a minus-10 rating while adding 47 PIM, 101 hits and 70 blocked shots over 47 appearances. Despite the poor scoring, he's maintained a top-four role.

Impact Kerfoot was listed on the fourth line but still logged something in the range of middle-six usage. The 29-year-old also played left wing with Adam Ruzicka making his Coyotes debut at center. Kerfoot has been steady lately with six points over his last 11 outings despite moving around the lineup. For the season, he's at 30 points, 69 shots on net, 35 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 51 contests.

Impact Maccelli entered Monday on an 11-game goal drought, during which he earned five assists while taking 12 shots on net. The 23-year-old has made some strides to shoot more this season, but he's still a pass-first player. He's been effective in a second-line role role with eight tallies, 34 points, 90 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 51 appearances.
