Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Set for first start of season Luukkonen is expected to make his first start of the season versus Ottawa on the road Tuesday.
Impact Luukkonen has watched from the sidelines as Devon Levi (lower body) and Eric Comrie started the first six games of the campaign. With Levi still dealing with his injury and Comrie starting against Montreal on Monday, Luukkonen will be pressed into service. Impact Dahlin's helper was his sixth of the season, and it was the secondary assist on a power-play goal by Jeff Skinner in the first period. In addition, Dahlin contributed with three shots on goal, a blocked shot and a team-high five hits in his 26:12 of ice time, easily the most among Buffalo rearguards. With the defenseman working on a four-game point streak, Dahlin and the Sabres are back in action Tuesday against the Senators.
