Impact Mangiapane has 13 goals, 36 points, 43 PIM and 81 hits in 63 outings in 2023-24. He missed Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Colorado because of the injury. Mangiapane is projected to play on the second line alongside Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman.

Jeremie Poirier - Back in AHL action Poirier has three assists over five games for AHL Calgary since returning from surgery to repair a skate laceration.
Impact Poirier went out in late October and needed over four months to recover. The 21-year-old blueliner has 10 points across nine games for the Wranglers this season, but with the Flames bringing in a number of depth defensemen at the trade deadline, it's unclear if Poirier will get a look in the NHL in 2023-24.

Hunter Brzustewicz - Inks entry-level deal Brzustewicz signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Flames on Thursday.
Impact Brzustewicz was included in the package Calgary received from Vancouver in the Elias Lindholm trade. The 2023 third-round pick has spent the 2023-24 campaign with the OHL's Kitchener Rangers, racking up 12 goals and 85 points through 62 contests. The 19-year-old defender could make the jump to the AHL in 2024-25, but he could also end up spending another season in the OHL.
