Ilya Solovyov - Dropped to AHL Solovyov was assigned to AHL Calgary on Monday.
Impact Solovyov's spot on the roster will be occupied by Rasmus Andersson, who has finished serving his four-game suspension for charging Columbus' Patrik Laine (upper body) on Oct. 20. The 23-year-old Solovyov has one shot on goal, one blocked shot, two hits and a minus-3 rating in two appearances with the Flames this season. He also has one goal and one assist in four AHL contests this campaign.

Impact Huberdeau helped out on Nazem Kadri's first-period tally. The helper snapped a four-game point drought for Huberdeau, whose decent start suggested he was set for a better season than 2022-23. The winger has two goals, three assists, 15 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through nine contests. Head coach Ryan Huska hasn't settled on any line combinations so far, so Huberdeau figures to continue bouncing around.

A.J. Greer - Finds twine Sunday Greer scored a power-play goal, doled out three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Oilers in the Heritage Classic.
Impact Greer got loose on a breakaway and scored right at the end of a power play in the second period. The 26-year-old has primarily played on the fourth line with no power-play time to begin this season. He's collected two points, 14 hits, 11 PIM, nine shots on goal and a minus-1 rating through eight appearances, though he's also in the mix to be a healthy scratch on occasion.

MacKenzie Weegar - Grabs two assists in loss Weegar tallied a pair of assists in Sunday's 5-2 loss to Edmonton in the Heritage Classic.
Impact Weegar was involved in both Calgary goals Sunday, each coming on the power play, setting up Nazem Kadri in the opening period and A.J. Greer in the second. The 29-year-old Weegar hadn't recorded a point since he scored a goal in the Flames' opener on Oct. 11. Still, Weegar's averaging 21:49 of ice time per game this season on the second defensive pairing while working the point on the second power-play unit. He had 31 points (four goals, 27 assists) in 81 games last year while adding 186 hits and 117 blocked shots.

Nazem Kadri - Scores first goal of season Kadri scored a goal on his lone shot in a 5-2 loss to the Oilers' in Sunday's Heritage Classic.
Impact Kadri got the Flames on the board on a power play late in the first period, deflecting a MacKenzie Weegar shot to cut the deficit to 2-1. It's the first goal and just the second point through nine games for Kadri, who's gotten off to a slow start in his second season in Calgary. The veteran center tallied 24 goals and 56 points in 82 contests last year.

Rasmus Andersson - Available to play Wednesday Andersson has served his four-game suspension and will be eligible to play against Dallas on Wednesday.
Impact Prior to his ban, Andersson was averaging 23:39 of ice time, including 4:08 with the man advantage. With his suspension behind him, the blueliner should get back to eating up big minutes and rejoining that No. 1 power-play unit. Offensively, the Swede has recorded one goal, two assists and 13 shots in his five outings this year.

Impact Markstrom settled down in the final two periods after allowing three goals in the opening frame, but he ultimately took the loss as the Flames couldn't overcome the early deficit in Sunday's Heritage Classic.
