Impact Mrazek hasn't played since undergoing thumb surgery in early February, so he may have some rust to shake off early on against the Stars. The 29-year-old backstop enjoyed a strong start to the season before suffering his long-term injury, going 2-1-0 while posting a highly impressive 0.99 GAA and .955 save percentage. He'll attempt to secure his third win of the year in a home matchup with a Dallas team that's 6-6-3 on the road this campaign.

"Possible" for Sunday's game Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said that Mrazek (thumb) is a "possibility" for Sunday's game against the Stars, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mrazek is skating Sunday morning, so he'll be re-evaluated following the session before Brind'Amour makes a final decision. This is certainly a positive development. Even if Mrazek doesn't gain clearance Sunday, there's a good chance that he'll be back at some point during the upcoming week. Before fracturing his thumb in January, Mrazek posted a .955 save percentage through four appearances.

Impact Tanner Kero's one-timer on the doorstep broke a 2-2 tie less than three minutes into the third period and held up as the game-winner, handing Nedeljkovic a second straight one-goal loss. The 25-year-old fell to 8-4-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .924, and his status may soon be complicated by the impending return of veteran Petr Mrazek (thumb).
