Artturi Lehkonen - Could be ready for camp Lehkonen (shoulder) should be ready around the start of training camp, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.
Impact The team will have a better outlook on Lehkonen's timeline in the coming months but for now, it seems to be good news. The 28-year-old tallied 16 goals and 34 points in 45 regular-season games before adding another 11 points in 11 playoff appearances. Assuming he's healthy, Lehkonen will be locked into a top-six role during the 2024-25 season.

Calle Rosen - Agrees to one-year deal Rosen signed a one-year contract with the Avalanche on Monday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.
Impact Rosen had two goals and 33 points in 68 regular-season appearances with AHL Springfield in 2023-24. He also had an assist in six outings with St. Louis. Rosen is likely to start the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Parker Kelly - Inks two-year agreement Kelly signed a two-year, $1.65 million contract with the Avalanche on Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Impact Kelly had eight goals, 18 points, 30 PIM, 171 hits and 67 blocks in 80 contests with Ottawa last season, but he became an unrestricted free agent after the Senators declined to present him with a qualifying offer. Kelly is likely to be a mainstay on the Avalanche's fourth line for the duration of his new contract.

T.J. Tynan - Joining Avalanche Tynan signed a deal with the Avalanche on Monday.
Impact While the details aren't official, Tynan's contract is likely a two-way deal. He hasn't seen any NHL action since skating in two games with the Kings during the 2021-22 campaign. However, he's been terrific with AHL Ontario over the last few years. Tynan scored 245 points at the AHL level over the last three seasons and chipped in another 11 playoff points during that span.

Jacob MacDonald - Returns to Mile High City MacDonald (undisclosed) signed a two-year, $1.55 million contract with Colorado on Monday, according to PuckPedia.
Impact MacDonald provided seven goals, two assists, 49 shots on net and 40 hits in 34 regular-season contests with the Sharks in 2023-24. The 31-year-old has played three of his first five years with the Avalanche, so he should be familiar with the organization. MacDonald could see playing time in a depth capacity as a forward or a defenseman in 2024-25.

Calvin de Haan - Signs one-year deal De Haan signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Avalanche on Monday, per Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia.
Impact De Haan had three goals, 10 points, 96 hits and 82 blocks in 59 regular-season appearances with the Lightning in 2023-24. The 33-year-old should be in the mix for a third-pairing role, but it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up as Colorado's seventh defenseman on the depth charts.

Joel Kiviranta - Pens two-way deal Kiviranta inked a one-year, two-way contract with Colorado on Monday.
Impact In his first season with the Avs, Kiviranta played in 56 regular-season contests in which he notched three goals, six assists and 78 hits. The 28-year-old winger's lack of offensive upside likely factored into the team's decision to only offer him a two-way deal. While Kiviranta should make the Opening Night roster, he is far from a lock as evidenced by his contract.

Jonathan Drouin - Staying put with one-year deal Drouin signed a one-year contract with the Avalanche on Monday. The agreement is reportedly worth $2.5 million, according to Aarif Deen of Mile High Sports.
Impact Provided those reported financial terms are accurate, this is a great deal for Colorado after Drouin supplied 19 goals and 56 points, including 19 points with the man advantage, in 79 regular-season contests with the Avalanche in 2023-24. Drouin is likely to serve in a top-six capacity in 2024-25 just as he did last season, but with Casey Mittelstadt gearing up for his first full campaign in Colorado, there's also a chance that the Avalanche will experiment with using Drouin as the third-line center.
