Nikita Prishchepov - Sent to minors Prishchepov was returned to AHL Colorado on Monday.

Impact Prishchepov didn't record a point over five games with the Avalanche. With Jonathan Drouin (upper body), Miles Wood (upper body) and Valeri Nichushkin (suspension) expected to return in the near future, the 20-year-old Prishchepov will continue to develop his game with the Eagles.

Kaapo Kahkonen - Lands on waivers Kahkonen was placed on waivers by the Avalanche on Monday.

Impact The Avalanche have struggled to get solid play between the pipes early in the season, and Kahkonen had an opportunity to make an impact at home against the Lightning on Oct. 30. However, he struggled against Tampa Bay, allowing four goals on 20 shots (.800 save percentage) en route to the loss. He'll likely head to the minors if he goes unclaimed on waivers, and it seems unlikely that he'll see significant time in the NHL this year.

Impact Georgiev will get his third straight start following a 27-save effort in Saturday's 6-4 win over Carolina. He has a 2-5-0 record with a 4.04 GAA and an .851 save percentage across eight appearances this campaign. Nashville is tied for 28th in the league with 2.47 goals per game in 2024-25.

The 26-year-old is up to seven assists, 13 shots, 26 blocks, 12 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 15 contests overall.
