Impact Makar participated in the morning skate and played on the top power play, so that is encouraging. If Makar is unable to play, the Avalanche's next game is at home versus Carolina on Saturday. Makar is off to an amazing start with five goals and 23 points in only 13 games.

Impact Georgiev has a 1-4-0 record, 4.62 GAA and .822 save percentage in six appearances with the Avalanche in 2024-25. He last played Oct. 28, stopping 21 of 24 shots en route to a 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks. Georgiev's next adversary is about difficult as there can be -- the Jets are 12-1-0 and lead the league offensively with 4.77 goals per game.

Impact Kelly played a big role while the Kraken had an extra attacker on the ice late in the third period. The eight blocks were five more than any other Avalanche skater -- the team's six blueliners combined for 10 blocks in the contest. Kelly has filled a defensive role on the third line this season, picking up just one assist with 20 shots on net, 33 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 13 appearances.

Josh Manson - Posts assist in win Manson notched a power-play assist, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Impact The Avalanche were nursing a lead when Nikolai Kovalenko scored in the dying seconds. The helper was Manson's first career power-play point, but he shouldn't be expected to be a contributor in that area moving forward. The defenseman has five points, 16 shots on net, 25 hits, 20 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 13 contests. He brings physicality in a bottom-four role and is producing offense at a pace similar to last season when he logged 25 points in 76 regular-season outings.

Impact Girard helped out on Chris Wagner's first-period tally to open the scoring. The 26-year-old Girard hasn't found much consistency on offense this season -- he's gotten on the scoresheet in just four of 13 games, totaling six assists. Impact Mittelstadt set up a Nikolai Kovalenko tally near the end of the contest. This was Mittelstadt's second straight game with a power-play helper. The center is up to six goals, nine assists, seven power-play points, 33 shots on net and a minus-8 rating over 13 appearances. As long as he remains on the top power-play unit, he should continue to put up strong scoring numbers.

Chris Wagner - Opens scoring in win Wagner scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Impact Wagner picked up his first point of the season when he scored just 2:28 into the game. The 33-year-old forward has added 11 shots on net, 20 hits, seven PIM and a minus-4 rating over eight appearances. He continues to play as the Avalanche wait for injured forwards to recover, but it's unclear where he'll fit in once the team is healthier. Wagner is unlikely to see anything more than fourth-line usage.

Impact Ivan has three goals over his last six games. The 22-year-old has been playing in a middle-six role due to injuries for the Avalanche, and he's mostly been able to hold his own. The 25-year-old continues to fill a middle-six role as the Avalanche navigate choppy waters on the injury front. Kovalenko is up to two goals, four assists, 13 shots on net, 22 hits and a minus-5 rating over 13 appearances. His pair of points Tuesday snapped a three-game dry spell.

Impact Lehkonen missed nearly a full month of the regular season while wrapping up his recovery from shoulder surgery in May. The 29-year-old didn't look to have missed a beat, playing 22:25 in his season debut. His return is a welcome one for the Avalanche, who have been running thin on depth due to injuries early in the campaign. Lehkonen should be a lock for top-six minutes as long as he remains healthy, and he's worth a look in all fantasy formats.
