Between pipes Saturday Oettinger will defend the home crease versus San Jose on Saturday, according to Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.
Impact Oettinger was outstanding Thursday, stopping 25 shots in a 4-1 win over Winnipeg. The win gave Oettinger a 22-11-4 record, with a 2.92 GAA and a .902 save percentage. He is expected to have an easy matchup against the Sharks, who are averaging only 2,12 goals, 31st in the NHL.

Impact Hakanpaa's shot was tipped in by Joe Pavelski late in the first period. The helper was Hakanpaa's first point in two games back from a five-game absence with an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old defenseman shouldn't be expected to pile up points while seeing bottom-four usage. He's at 11 points, 168 hits, 113 blocked shots, 48 shots on net, 33 PIM and a plus-9 rating through 57 contests. Hakanpaa may lose ice time once Chris Tanev is able to make his Stars debut.

Impact Benn has five helpers over his last seven games, but his last goal was Feb. 7 versus the Maple Leafs. The 34-year-old appears to have been energized with youngsters Wyatt Johnston and Logan Stankoven on his wing in recent games. Benn is up to 35 points, 110 shots on net, 83 hits, 35 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 62 appearances in a third-line role.

Impact Johnston once again set up a Logan Stankoven tally in the first period. The 20-year-old Johnston has had no problem serving as playmaker for his teammate's immediate success at the NHL level. Johnston has a point in four straight games and finished February with five goals and six helpers over 13 appearances. For the season, he's at 43 points, 150 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 62 games.

Impact Pavelski forced a turnover to set up Jason Robertson on the opening tally. About 10 minutes later, Pavelski showcased his signature skill with a tip-in of a Jani Hakanpaa shot for the Stars' second goal. This was Pavelski's first multi-point effort in nine outings. Impact February was an up and down month for the 25-year-old netminder. The highs were high, and the lows were low. Oettinger posted a .940 save percentage or better four times and was at .833 or worse three times. That has kind of been the story of his season, but February was an improvement after finishing January with four straight games at an .884 save percentage or worse.
