An injury to Jani Hakanpaa (upper body) will see both Derrick Pouliot and Alex Petrovic inserted into the lineup against Boston on Monday.

Impact Hakanpaa is currently mired in a 14-game goal drought during which he added just two assists and 15 shots. As such, the 31-year-old Finn's absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy players, except in formats that utilize hits and blocks. In addition to Hakanpaa, the Stars will also be without Nils Lundkvist (concussion) for the trip.

Impact Oettinger is undefeated in regulation in his last eight contests, going 7-0-1 while registering a 2.84 GAA and .905 save percentage. The Stars are heading into a back-to-back, which means fantasy players should expect Scott Wedgewood to get the starting nod on the road versus the Rangers on Tuesday. For his part, Oettinger is firmly entrenched as the No. 1 option in Dallas and figures to see the bulk of the workload the rest of the way.

Impact Heiskanen has been fantastic since returning from injury, racking up six points, 26 shots and 10 blocks in his last eight contests. With the Stars entering a back-to-back while on the road, there is a chance the 24-year-old defenseman won't be ready in time to face the Rangers on Tuesday either. Impact Heiskanen has two goals and four assists over his last eight outings. The 24-year-old defenseman helped out on a Thomas Harley tally in the second period. Those two blueliners have paired well together as a force in all zones for the Stars, and they'll be leaned on even more with Nils Lundkvist (concussion) and Jani Hakanpaa (upper body) questionable heading into the team's upcoming four-game road trip. Heiskanen has 33 points, 104 shots on net, 64 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 45 outings this season, giving him a reasonable chance at reaching the 50-point mark for the second year in a row.

Impact Pouliot has spent all season with AHL Texas. The 30-year-old is among the Stars' more experienced defensemen in the minors, so it makes sense that he'll get the call. Last year with the Sharks, Pouliot posted two assists over eight contests.
