Tallies on power play Benn scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.

Impact Benn tied the game at 2-2 late in the second period on a feed from Thomas Harley. With three goals and an assist over his last five games, Benn is starting to chip in more regularly on offense. With Jake Oettinger (lower body) still out and Miro Heiskanen (lower body) week-to-week, the Stars will need to get solid offense, especially from the middle-six forwards, to keep pace in the top-heavy Central Division. Benn is up to eight goals, 25 points (eight on the power play), 65 shots on net, 34 hits, 25 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 38 contests this season.

One of each in loss Robertson scored a goal on six shots and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.

Impact Robertson scored midway through the third period to cut the deficit to one, but the Stars failed to pull even. The winger is doing his part lately with five multi-point efforts over his last 12 games, a span in which he's racked up five goals and 10 assists. Robertson is up to 13 goals, 38 points (12 on the power play), 111 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 38 appearances. He should continue to operate around a point-per-game while logging top-line minutes.

Gives up four goals Wedgewood allowed four goals on 22 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.

Impact The Stars clawed back from a two-goal deficit, but Wedgewood gave up a pair of tallies to Filip Forsberg in the third period. The increased workload lately has caught up with Wedgewood -- he has allowed at least four goals in four of his last five games despite facing more than 30 shots in just one of them. The 31-year-old dropped to 11-4-3 with a 3.17 GAA and an .894 save percentage through 18 games. With Jake Oettinger (lower body) reportedly closer to day-to-day, Wedgewood's run as the primary starter for Dallas is likely soon to end. The Stars play four games next week, so fantasy managers in weekly formats may want to hang onto Wedgewood for a bit longer.

Impact Oettinger, who was upgraded to day-to-day by coach Peter DeBoer on Wednesday, will miss his 10th consecutive contest. His next chance to play will be Monday against Minnesota. Scott Wedgewood, who will get the nod Saturday versus the Predators, has been starting regularly during Oettinger's absence.

Impact It'll be the 11th straight start for Wedgewood with Jake Oettinger (lower body) still unavailable. The 31-year-old netminder has dropped his last two outings, allowing nine goals on 52 shots in that span. Overall, Wedgewood is 11-3-3 with an .897 save percentage and 3.11 GAA this year. He'll face a Nashville team that's averaging 3.08 goals per game.

Impact The good news is that Heiskanen will not require surgery and the injury is not season-ending, but he is not day-to-day. Heiskanen was injured Thursday versus Colorado. He had four assists in his last four games, giving him 27 points in 37 games this season. He will be replaced by Thomas Harley on the first power play, while Esa Lindell could see some time on the second unit.

Impact Duchene has made up for a six-game goal drought by providing five helpers over his last three outings. He earned his first power-play point since Dec. 6 in Thursday's contest. The 32-year-old center has been one of the Stars' better forwards this season, racking up 34 points (seven on the power play), 81 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 36 appearances.

Impact Dadonov was credited with the opening goal at 11:57 of the first period. The winger has four points over his last six outings, providing solid returns in his usual third-line role. For the season, he's up to nine goals, 17 points, 50 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 35 appearances.

Impact Wedgewood has filled in admirably for the injured Jake Oettinger (lower body), who has been upgraded to day-to-day and is closing in on a return. Wedgewood is 5-2-2 in nine games with Oettinger out, but he's allowed four or more goals in four of those nine. And nine goals in his last two games, both losses. Wedgewood may be tiring, so use caution if you put him in your paint. As always, lower-rated offenses make for better outcomes.

Impact Seguin has two multi-point games in his last three games, and three goals and two assists in that span. It's a nice little run, but don't lose sight of the fact that his last multi-point game was Nov. 20. Still, there may be value in his game, so check your wire to see if he's available. Seguin, Mason Marchment and Matt Duchene have really started to click on the Stars' second line, and they combined for six points Thursday.

Impact The injury announcement came in the third period, so it's not looking good for Heiskanen to make it back. He crashed into goalie Scott Wedgewood early in the third and apparently the defenseman got the worst of the collision. Heiskanen had one assist in 14:38 of ice time prior to the injury. The Stars host the Predators on Saturday for their next game.
