Pyotr Kochetkov - Officially out WednesdayKochetkov (concussion) is considered day-to-day but won't be in the lineup versus the Rangers on Wednesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
ImpactWith Frederik Andersen (knee) also sidelined, the Canes will likely turn the crease over to Spencer Martin for Wednesday's matchup. Still, the fact that Kochetkov has been upgraded to day-to-day is a positive step forward and could be an indication he'll be ready to play in one end of the Canes' upcoming back-to-back against the Panthers on Friday and Saturday.

Matt Duchene - Supplies two assistsDuchene logged two assists and two shots on goal in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.
ImpactOver the last seven games, Duchene has logged four multi-point efforts and compiled four goals and six assists. The 33-year-old is centering the Stars' second line, and that's been the team's best trio for a large portion of the season. He's up to 25 points (11 goals, 14 helpers), 35 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-10 rating through 20 outings. A 31.4 shooting percentage is unsustainable, but there's no reason to think Duchene's production will completely crater given his chemistry with Tyler Seguin and Mason Marchment.

Thomas Harley - Tallies in Monday's lossHarley scored a goal in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.
ImpactHarley put the Stars ahead 2-1 in the first period. He hasn't gone more than two games without a point in November, providing steady offense while playing top-four minutes on defense. The 23-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, 10 points, 42 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 20 appearances this season.

Jaccob Slavin - Finds helper in winSlavin notched an assist and four shots on goal in Monday's 6-4 win over the Stars.
ImpactSlavin ended a six-game slump when he helped out on Andrei Svechnikov's empty-netter. The Hurricanes haven't gotten a lot of offense out of their top pairing (Slavin and Brent Burns), but Slavin's been the more productive of the two with eight points over 21 outings. He's added 25 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating as a high-end shutdown defender.
