Headed to Sunshine State Tarasenko was traded to the Panthers by the Senators on Wednesday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Impact Tarasenko may not be the 30-goal scorer he was back in St. Louis but he should still slot into a top-six role with the Panthers, possibly relegating Nick Cousins to the third line. In addition, the 32-year-old Tarasenko should get some power-play minutes as well considering he has registered eight of his 41 points this season with the man advantage. Based on reports, the return for the Russian winger is expected to be two draft picks, per Wayne Scanlan of Sportsnet.

Three helpers in Jersey Tkachuk notched three assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Devils.
Impact It's the sixth multi-point performance in the last 12 games for Tkachuk, who's erupted for five goals and 20 points over that stretch. A sluggish start to the season could result in the 26-year-old winger failing to reach 100 points for the third straight campaign, but he's doing his best to make up the difference and is now up to 68 points (21 goals, 47 helpers) through 61 contests.

Lights lamp twice in win Cousins scored two goals including the game-winner in Tuesday's 5-3 victory over the Devils.
Impact After getting the Panthers on the board early in the first period, Cousins put his squad up 4-2 early in the third by tipping home a Gustav Forsling point shot. Cousins came into Tuesday with only one goal and six points in 49 games on the season, but he was skating on the second line with Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett in this one -- an assignment that could lead to some short-term fantasy value.

Nabs fourth straight win Stolarz made 21 saves in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Devils.
Impact The Panthers never trailed in the back-and-forth affair, and Stolarz eventually came away with his fourth straight win. The 30-year-old netminder hasn't given up more than three goals in an outing since Jan. 15, going 6-2-0 over his last eight starts with a 1.85 GAA and .933 save percentage.
