Not playing Friday Barkov (lower body) won't be in the lineup versus Minnesota on Friday, according to coach Paul Maurice.
Impact This will be the second straight game that Barkov will miss. Anton Lundell will once again take his spot as the No. 1 center between Sam Reinhart and Eetu Luostarinen. Game-time decision Friday Barkov (lower body) will be a game-time call against Minnesota on Friday, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
Impact Barkov could return after missing just one game due to his lower-body issue. While the 28-year-old center is stuck in a 13-game goal drought, he has racked up 17 helpers over that stretch, including eight with the man advantage. If given the all-clear, Barkov figures to rejoin the No. 1 power-play unit in addition to retaking his spot in the top six.

Starting Friday Bobrovsky will get the home start versus Minnesota on Friday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Impact Bobrovsky is 0-1-1 after seeing his seven-game winning streak come to an end Saturday. He is having a stellar season, going 21-10-2 with a 2.46 GAA and a .911 save percentage. Bobrovsky has rewarded his fantasy managers this season, as he is a top-five goaltender. Bobrovsky will take on a tired Wild team, who will cross the state after facing Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Makes history Wednesday Reinhart scored a shorthanded goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact The 28-year-old opened the scoring early in the second period, moving full speed into the Detroit zone to take a pass from Anton Lundell and snapping the puck past Alex Lyon. Reinhart has found the back of the net in an incredible eight straight games, and at least one goal in each contest has come either on the power play or on the penalty kill -- setting an NHL record for consecutive games with special-teams tallies. Reinhart also set a new franchise record with his eight-game goal streak, surpassing Pavel Bure's seven-game streak from 2000-01. The accolades don't stop there -- Reinhart has already tied his personal best for goals in a season with 33, needing only 44 games to do it, and he has exactly 500 points for his career.
