The 30-year-old Stolarz has been solid behind Sergei Bobrovsky this season -- Stolarz improved to 7-4-2 with a .917 save percentage and a 2.12 GAA on Monday. Stolarz should get at least one more start this week, with Florida playing back-to-back games versus the Penguins and Islanders on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Receives three-game suspension Lockwood was suspended for three games by the NHL on Saturday for goaltender interference on Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury during Friday's 6-4 loss to the Wild.

Impact Lockwood will be eligible to return for next Saturday's game against the Islanders. He has an assist, 14 PIM and 42 hits in 23 contests while averaging 8:22 of ice time this season. Having a hearing Lockwood will have a hearing Saturday with the NHL Department of Player Safety for goaltender interference on Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury during Friday's contest.

Impact Fleury left the game with an upper-body injury after Lockwood hit him behind the Wild net. Lockwood has picked up one assist, 14 PIM and 42 hits in 23 games this season.

Impact Ekblad was a man on a mission in this home clash, but the Wild manufactured five power-play goals, plus an empty-net tally, to counter the defenseman's fiery attack. This was only the second multi-point game from Ekblad this season, and all of his offensive magic happened during 5-on-5 play. Ekblad has been downgraded to the No. 2 power-play unit, resulting in him netting just three man-advantage points -- with all of them being assists -- so far in 2023-24. Of course, a shoulder injury that required surgery caused Ekblad to get off to a late start to the campaign, and a minor lower-body issue crept up in December as well, so the Panthers are doing their part to manage the star blueliner's workload.

Impact Lundell continues to improve, especially with the more playing time he gets for the Panthers. He is now on the first line with Eetu Luostarinen and Sam Reinhart and ended up with a goal and an assist on the night. The 22-year old 12th overall pick may not be on pace to surpass the 44 points from his 2021-22 rookie year, but with the trust of his coach we may see more production in the near future.

Impact Stolarz replaced Sergei Bobrovsky halfway through the game after he allowed four power-play goals on only 15 shots. After taking over the goaltending duties, Stolarz was solid, allowing only one power-play goal on Kirill Kaprizov's 15th goal of the season. Anton Lundell and Gustav Forsling each scored in the third period to cut the lead to one but it wasn't enough as Ryan Hartman scored an empty-net goal to end the game. In his last three starts, Stolarz has allowed seven goals and an .894 save percentage.

Impact The Wild peppered Bobrovsky with quality shots on the power play, finding the back of the net on four out of ten chances until he was eventually relieved of his duties. Anthony Stolarz took over between the posts for the remainder of the game halfway through the second period. The numbers do not look good for Bobrovsky. He ended with a .733 save percentage and only made seven saves.
