Impact Clarke is looking good on offense with four points over his last three games. The defenseman has added a plus-3 rating and five blocked shots in that span, so he's no slouch in his own zone either. For the season, the 21-year-old has eight points, 19 shots on net, 19 blocks, 12 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 10 contests.

Trevor Moore - Slides helper in loss Moore notched an assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Sharks.
Impact Moore has two helpers over the last three games as he looks to get his offense on track following a slow start to the season. The 29-year-old winger remains in a top-six role with ice time in all situations, so he's in a good position to bounce back. He has three points, 27 shots on net, 11 hits and a minus-2 rating over 10 appearances.

Impact This was Thomas' season debut, and he played on the second line at even strength. His tally tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, just 58 seconds after Jake Walman opened the scoring for the Sharks. Thomas took the spot of Kevin Fiala, who was scratched for missing a team meeting. Moving forward, Thomas is likely to challenge Trevor Lewis or Andre Lee for a spot on the fourth line.

With those variations in role, Laferriere has some risk, but he's looking like an effective power winger for fantasy.

David Rittich - Struggles in third loss Rittich allowed three goals on 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Sharks. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact Rittich never received a lead to protect, as the Kings were able to twice erase one-goal deficits but never pulled ahead. The 32-year-old has allowed at least three goals in each of his three losses. He's at a 3-3-0 record, 3.09 GAA and .870 save percentage through six appearances. He's been a bit inconsistent, though he's been pressed into more work than expected early on due Darcy Kuemper missing time with a lower-body injury. Look for Kuemper to get the nod Wednesday at home against the Golden Knights.

Impact Kings coach Jim Hillier had suggested he'd decrease ice time for players who repeatedly take bad penalties. Fiala took an interference penalty in the first and cross-checking one in the second, and he ended up with 10:12 ice time and 14 shifts. Prior to Saturday, Fiala had played more than 17 minutes in six of the Kings first eight games. Players usually respond well in situations like this, so watch for Fiala to hit the ice flying Tuesday against San Jose.

Darcy Kuemper - Wins in return from injury Kuemper made 23 saves in a 3-2 win Saturday over Utah.
Impact Kuemper hadn't played since Oct. 14 after missing four games with a lower-body injury after he allowed an octet of goals Oct. 14 against Ottawa. He's 2-0-2 with a 3.20 GAA and .890 save percentage, but those ratios have been sorely inflated by that Ottawa game. Kuemper is a guy who should excel behind the strong team-first system in L.A. Get him back in your blue paint.

Adrian Kempe - Couple apples keep Utah at bay Kempe delivered two assists, including one on the power play, in a 3-2 win over Utah on Saturday.
Impact Kempe, who is fresh off 75 points in 77 games last season, is off to a similar pace this season. He has three goals and five assists, along with 12 hits and 21 shots, in nine games so far. Kempe, Anze Kopitar and Quinton Byfield form one of the league's most formidable power lines.

Those six helpers tie him with Anze Kopitar for the team lead. Clarke had a game-high four blocks Saturday, and he has 10 in his last four games. The 21-year-old is working to demonstrate that he's more than simply an offensive specialist and that he can play both sides of the puck. That's a work in progress, but so far, so good.
