Waived Tuesday McCormick was designated for waivers by Seattle on Tuesday.

Impact McCormick has 94 games of NHL experience with the Senators, Hurricanes and Kraken but was unable to force his way into the NHL roster to open the 2024-25 campaign. Assuming he clears, the winger will be reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley -- though he should be on the shortlist of potential call-ups.

Signs two-year deal McCormick signed a two-year, two-way contract with Seattle on Sunday.

Impact McCormick racked up 32 goals and 60 points in 68 AHL games last season and made just one appearance at the NHL level. He hs 94 games of experience at the top level but hasn't played more than 10 NHL games in a season since the 2020-21 campaign. He'll continue providing organizational depth in Seattle.

Returned to AHL McCormick was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Impact McCormick got into one game during his recall, logging 5:38 of ice time and not much else. The 31-year-old continues to serve as organizational forward depth for the Kraken.

Impact The 31-year-old journeyman had eight goals and 17 points in 16 AHL games before his recall. McCormick has played 91 NHL games with Ottawa, Carolina and Seattle, scoring eight times while adding six assists.
