Impact The 25-year-old netminder barely had a chance to get settled into the game before New York had put two pucks behind him, with Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider striking within the first two minutes of the game. Hart didn't get rattled and kept his team in it, but Igor Shesterkin shut down Philly's attempts to mount a comeback. Hart has lost two straight starts, but he has yet to put together a winning or losing streak of longer than two games this season, leaving him with a 6-5-0 record to go with a solid 2.53 GAA and .911 save percentage.

Carter Hart - Facing Rangers Hart will be in the home crease versus the Rangers on Friday, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Impact Hart dropped a 3-2 decision to the Islanders on Wednesday, snapping his two-game winning streak. Hart is 6-4-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .915 save percentage this season. Impact Anders Lee jammed the puck past him at the post early in the first, and Brock Nelson beat him twice, once on a redirection and then again on a backdoor play. Since his return from injury Nov. 15, Hart is 2-1-0 with a .920 save percentage on the season. He's a solid activation even when the Flyers wobble.
