Rasmus Ristolainen - Sporting regular sweater Ristolainen (lower body) ditched the non-contact jersey for Tuesday's practice session, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Impact With Ristolainen cleared for contact, he could be close to getting back onto the ice, perhaps even in Wednesday's matchup with the Islanders. Considering the defenseman has yet to play this season, his minutes may be limited in his first couple of outings. Last year, the Finn recorded the lowest minutes of his NHL career, averaging just 19:01 of ice time and less than a minute per game with the man advantage.

Impact The assist ended a six-game point drought for Hathaway. The winger has just three points through 18 contests this season. His fantasy value comes from his peripherals, where he's picked up 15 PIM, 15 blocks, and most notably 50 hits -- which ranks him eighth in the league in the category.

Bobby Brink - Adds goal in commanding win Brink found the back of the net on the power play in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact Brink is a name to watch as he gains more top-level experience. Nabbed in the second round (No. 34 overall) of the 2019 NHL Enty Draft, Brink has cashed in on four goals to complement five assists through 14 games, plus he's added three power-play points while serving on the No. 2 man-advantage unit.

Sean Walker - Two helpers in Sunday's win Walker picked up two assists, one on the power play and one shorthanded, in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact Both points came early in the second period, as Walker slipped the puck to Bobby Brink on the man advantage for Philly's second goal -- and Walker's first power-play point of the year -- before causing a Columbus turnover in his own end about five minutes later that created a two-on-nothing break for Ryan Poehling and Garnet Hathaway which Poehling converted. Walker is emerging as one of coach John Tortorella's most trusted blueliners, seeing a career-high 21:05 TOI in 2023-24, and the 29-year-old has a four-game point streak going in which he's amassed one goal and six points. On the season, he's recorded three goals, 10 points, 32 shots on net. 31 blocked shots, 28 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-6 rating through 18 contests.

Cam York - Two points against Columbus York produced a goal and an assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact After helping to set up Joel Farabee early in the first period to get the Flyers on the board, York wrapped up the scoring on the day with an empty-netter. It was the first multi-point performance of the season for the 22-year-old blueliner, and while York is averaging a career-high in ice time with 22:18, he's lost his spot on the power play and has only two goals and six points through 18 games, giving him limited fantasy appeal.

Joel Farabee - Two points in Sunday's win Farabee scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact He opened the scoring a little over five minutes into the first period, scooping up a loose puck at the Columbus blue line and splitting the defense before lifting a backhander past Spencer Martin. Farabee has three multi-point performances over his last eight games, and the 2018 first-round pick appears headed for a breakout campaign with seven goals and 14 points through 18 contests -- he had only 15 goals and 39 points over 82 games in 2022-23.

Ryan Poehling - Three points against Jackets Poehling scored a shorthanded goal that proved to be the game-winner and delivered two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact The 24-year-old came into Sunday with just one goal and two points through 14 games, but Poehling was all over the ice in this one -- he helped set up Joel Farabee early in the first period for the game's opening tally, finished off a two-on-nothing breakaway with Garnet Hathaway in the second, then got the puck to Cam York for an empty-netter in the third. Poehling was taken 25th overall by Montreal in the 2017 NHL Draft and posted 14 goals and 31 points over 35 games in his last couple AHL stints, but as long as he remains in a bottom-six role with the Flyers, opportunities to show he might have some untapped offensive upside will be few and far between.

Samuel Ersson - Not busy in third win Ersson stopped 20 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact Philly never trailed in the game, in large part due to a defensive effort that made sure Columbus wasn't able to get more than nine shots on net in any period. Ersson has won three of his last four starts to improve his record to 3-3-1, and through five appearances in November he has a dazzling 2.09 GAA despite a merely solid .909 save percentage. As long as Carter Hart is healthy though, Ersson will remain stuck in a backup role.
