Impact After Samuel Ersson (illness) left Thursday's game against Vancouver, Hart stepped in and stopped all eight shots he faced. Friday's game will be Hart's first start since Dec. 22. In five December appearances, he's gone 3-0-1 with a 2.25 GAA and a .929 save percentage. On the year, he's gone 9-6-2 with a 2.57 GAA through 19 games.

Travis Konecny - Leaves game due to illness Konecny couldn't complete Thursday's 4-1 win over Vancouver because of an illness, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.

Impact Konecny registered an assist in 14:55 of ice time before exiting the game. Coach John Tortorella said the 26-year-old's illness is the same one that had been making its way through the Flyers before the Christmas break, and Konecny felt worse as the game progressed. The Philadelphia forward has 16 goals and 28 points in 34 appearances in 2023-24. If he can't play Thursday, then Rhett Gardner will likely draw back into the lineup.

Impact Ersson saved 18 of 19 shots in 42:36 of ice time before having to leave the contest. Carter Hart drew into the game as a result.
