Victor Ostman - Headed back to AHL Ostman was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Wednesday.
Impact Ostman made his NHL debut Tuesday against Utah, stopping all 12 shots he faced after starter Joey Daccord got tagged for seven goals. The 24-year-old will continue to gain experience in the AHL, where he's made four starts with a 2-1-1 record, 2.00 GAA and a .927 save percentage. Ostman's move suggests that Philipp Grubauer (illness), who missed Tuesday's game against Utah, could return for Thursday's matchup against the Golden Knights.

Andre Burakovsky - Lends power-play helper in loss Burakovsky notched a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 7-1 loss to Utah.
Impact Burakovsky set up Jared McCann's tally early in the third period, which spared the Kraken from getting shut out. It continues a strong stretch for Burakovsky, who has four goals and eight assists over his last 11 contests. The winger is up to 36 points (seven on the power play), 113 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 76 appearances this season.

Vince Dunn - Adds power-play helper Dunn notched a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 7-1 loss to Utah.
Impact Dunn has six helpers over his last nine contests, though just two of them have come on the power play. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to 38 points over 59 appearances this season, a fair bit behind the 46-point effort he had over the same number of games in 2023-24. Dunn has added 11 power-play points, 133 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in 2024-25 while remaining on the top pairing when healthy.

Impact McCann broke up Karel Vejmelka's shutout bid just 23 seconds into the third period. With seven points over four games in April, McCann is putting together a strong finish to the campaign. He's at 21 goals, 59 points (15 on the power play), 197 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 47 hits and a plus-9 rating through 79 appearances this season, just a touch behind the pace that saw him rack up 62 points in 80 games a year ago.

Victor Ostman - Makes NHL debut in relief Ostman stopped all 12 shots he faced in relief of Joey Daccord in Tuesday's 7-1 loss to Utah.
Impact Ostman was sharp, though Utah had eased up a bit after torching Daccord for seven goals on 29 shots. Ostman spent much of the campaign at ECHL Kansas City, going 21-7-4 with a 2.52 GAA and a .903 save percentage. He's also made four AHL appearances with a 2-1-1 record, 2.00 GAA and a .927 save percentage. His stay in the NHL is likely to be short, and the 24-year-old is likely looking at another year or two of AHL action before contending for an NHL job despite this respectable debut with the Kraken.

Joey Daccord - Pulled after two periods Daccord gave up seven goals on 29 shots in Tuesday's 7-1 loss to Utah.
Impact Daccord started for the second day in a row and ended up giving a textbook example of why teams try to avoid that situation occurring. Utah put three goals past him in the first period and scored another four in the second before Daccord got the mercy pull, allowing Victor Ostman to play in the final frame. This loss sent Daccord to 27-21-5 with a 2.70 GAA and a .908 save percentage. Philipp Grubauer (illness) should be healthy enough to play again before the end of the season, but the Kraken have just three games left and none are in back-to-backs, so Daccord should still be penciled in for another two games at a minimum.
