Impact Beniers was originally deemed a game-time call versus the Blues but his activation clears the way for him to suit up Friday. The 21-year-old center was struggling offensively prior to getting hurt with just one point in his last seven outings. The Massachusetts native figures to start in a bottom-six role against St. Louis but should see more minutes as he gets back up to speed.

Matty Beniers - Game-time decision Friday Beniers (upper body) will be a game-time decision for Friday's home matchup against the Blues, per Mike Benton.

Impact Beniers missed the last five games with his upper-body injury. His status for Friday's contest likely won't be confirmed until the Kraken take the ice for pregame warmups, so fantasy managers should plan accordingly. The 21-year-old has registered six goals and 13 assists in 42 games, he will likely need to step up his production if the Kraken have a shot of making the playoffs.

John Hayden - Returns to minors Hayden was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Thursday.

Impact Hayden was summoned by Seattle on Jan. 15 and went on to play in two of the Kraken's five contests before being returned to the minors. He had no points, a minus-1 rating, one shot, three hits and a block in those two contests. With Coachella Valley, Hayden has recorded four goals, 10 points and 48 PIM in 33 outings this season.

Brian Dumoulin - Lends assist in Wednesday's win Dumoulin notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Impact Dumoulin broke a four-game slump with a primary assist on Brandon Tanev's second-period marker. With four points in January, Dumoulin has enjoyed his most productive month of the season. The 32-year-old is at 10 points, 34 shots on net, 40 hits, 44 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 46 outings. He'll need to stay sharp at both ends of the ice to avoid losing playing time to Ryker Evans.

Impact Tanev's tally put the Kraken ahead 4-1 in the second period. The winger snapped a five-game point drought with the goal, but he's rarely showed much consistency on offense this season. He's at eight points, 33 shots on net, 47 hits, 32 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 31 outings. Tanev remains a strong penalty-killer, but with Yanni Gourde (suspension) set to return Friday versus the Blues and Matty Beniers (upper body) also close to being activated from injured reserve, Tanev's spot in the lineup shouldn't be considered safe.
