Oliver Bjorkstrand - In lineup Wednesday Bjorkstrand (personal) is expected to play Wednesday versus the Blackhawks, Tim Booth of The Associated Press reports.

Impact Bjorkstrand was absent from Tuesday's practice due to personal reasons, but it doesn't look like he'll miss game time. He'll play alongside Kailer Yamamoto and Eeli Tolvanen on the third line with Yanni Gourde serving the second and final game of his suspension. Bjorkstrand has a goal and six assists over his last seven games.

Joey Daccord - Starting against Chicago Daccord will patrol the home crease versus the Blackhawks on Wednesday, Geoff Baker of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Daccord looks set to retain the No. 1 job even with Philipp Grubauer (lower body) available again. Since the start of December, Daccord has gone 10-5-3 with a 1.89 GAA and a .938 save percentage in 18 games. He'll get a favorable matchup against the banged-up and low-scoring Blackhawks, which should give Daccord a chance to snap his three-game losing streak.

Impact In a corresponding move, Philipp Grubauer (lower body) was activated from long-term injured reserve. Driedger has stopped 55 of 60 shots in two starts for the Kraken this campaign en route to a 1-1-0 record.

Grubauer, who hasn't played since Dec. 9 against Tampa Bay, has a 5-9-1 record with a 3.25 GAA and an .884 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Joey Daccord has played well as Seattle's top netminder, but his three-game losing skid could open the door for Grubauer to battle with him for playing time. As it stands right now, Grubauer is probably slated to fill the backup role.

Jordan Eberle - Supplies goal in loss Eberle scored a goal on his only shot in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Impact Late in the second period, Eberle deked Ilya Samsonov from in close to cut the lead to 2-1 on assists from Tomas Tatar and Jared McCann. He finished the game with an even rating in 16:28 TOI. Eberle is on a nice three-game point streak, scoring four points (two goals and two assists) with five shots on goal. He has scored back-to-back 20 goal seasons for the Kraken but is on pace to be short of that mark for the current frame. Seattle hosts the Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

Joey Daccord - Loses third straight Daccord kicked out 23 of 25 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Sunday.

Impact Auston Matthews continued his torrid pace, netting a goal on Daccord 7:06 into the first period on a backhand deke from the slot. He was solid for the remainder of the game, allowing only one more goal on a snap shot from Nicholas Roberstson that he had little chance on from an odd-man rush. Jake McCabe scored an empty netter late in the third to secure the win for Toronto. Daccord has carried the load for the Kraken, playing in 17 out of the last 19 games for Seattle. During that span he has posted a whopping .940 save percentage and a 1.87 GAA.
