The Avalanche are 6-2-0 while being tied for 10th offensively with an average of 3.38 goals per game. However, Colorado suffered shutout losses to Pittsburgh and Buffalo on Thursday and Sunday, respectively, so Binnington will be facing a colder version of the Avalanche.

Impact The Blues fell flat in the second half of a back-to-back. Binnington was under siege in the first period, but a three-goal burst from the Canucks in a span of 3:04 during the middle stanza put the game out of reach. Binnington had allowed just seven goals over his first four games combined. He's been a pleasant surprise so far, but he had a tendency to run hot and cold in 2022-23, so fantasy managers will have to hope this isn't the start of a rough run for the 30-year-old. The Blues have some extended rest before wrapping up their road trip in Colorado on Wednesday.

Impact Binnington has been solid this season, posting a 2-1-1 record, 1.69 GAA and .945 save percentage in four appearances. The backstop should continue to handle most of the netminding duties with Joel Hofer firmly cemented in the No. 2 role. If he keeps it up, Binnington could reach the 30-win threshold for the first time since 2019-20 this year.

Pointless through six games Krug fired a shot on net and finished plus-1 in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Flames.
Impact Krug has been handling big minutes, averaging 22:44 of ice time through six games with 3:35 on the power play. Despite the opportunity, the 32-year-old blueliner hasn't posted a point through six games and has fired just eight shots on net. Last season, Krug registered seven goals and 32 points -- 14 on the power play -- so we should expect him to rebound at some point as long as he keeps getting opportunities.

Impact The Blues captain has produced 20-plus goals in back-to-back seasons, but he has yet to find twine through six games, although he has one assist. The 32-year-old has only fired eight shots on net. Schenn should turn things around at some point, but in the meantime, he's at least offered good physicality with 17 hits.

Impact Vrana is in the last season of a three-year, $15.75 million contract that he signed with the Red Wings in August of 2021. Head coach Craig Berube said before the game that Vrana's performance hasn't been up to the team's standards despite the 27-year-old scoring a goal and adding two assists through five games. Vrana will certainly get another chance in the lineup, but his fantasy relevance will be flaky unless he can establish himself in the top six.

Limited role in season debut Perunovich logged 9:44 of ice time in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Flames.
Impact Perunovich was a healthy scratch for the first five games of the season, but he finally made his season debut as the seventh defenseman Thursday. While he didn't handle much ice time, it's worth noting that the 25-year-old recorded 1:50 on the power play. The Blues likely won't send him to the minors because he requires waivers, but it doesn't look like Perunovich's ice time will increase any time soon.
