Impact The hope is Timmins will start practicing with the team in Sweden. The Maple Leafs still have three games before that trip -- Wednesday versus Ottawa, Friday against Calgary and Saturday versus Vancouver -- and it seems safe to assume Timmins won't be an option for any of those contests. The 25-year-old defenseman had two goals and 14 points in 27 appearances with Arizona and Toronto last season.

Joseph Woll - Set to face Senators Woll is expected to start at home against Ottawa on Wednesday, according to David Alter of Sports Illustrated.
Impact Woll saved 18 of 19 shots in relief Monday after Ilya Samsonov surrendered four goals on 12 shots to the Lightning. Toronto was losing 4-1 when Woll entered the game, but the Maple Leafs went on to earn a 6-5 overtime victory over Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old goaltender's been a strong option for Toronto all season, posting a 4-3-0 record, 2.30 GAA and .930 save percentage through seven contests. However, the Senators are a daunting assignment for goaltenders. They rank fifth offensively with 3.80 goals per game this year.

Jake McCabe - Not ready Wednesday McCabe (groin) isn't expected to return Wednesday versus Ottawa, according to Mike Stephens of SI Now.
Impact McCabe skated with the Maple Leafs on Wednesday but wasn't part of the top-three pairings during line rushes. The fact that joined the practice at all does suggest he's getting close, so perhaps he'll be an option against Calgary on Friday. McCabe's been held off the scoresheet this season while recording a minus-4 rating, 12 hits and nine blocks in seven contests. The 30-year-old has missed Toronto's last five contests.
