Impact Klingberg was injured Sept. 27, but he won't end up missing a regular-season contest due to the issue. He's projected to serve on the second pairing with Jake McCabe and see time on the top power-play unit. Klingberg had 10 goals and 33 points in 67 games between Anaheim and Minnesota last year.

Impact McMann has been cleared to return from the knee issue that bothered him during training camp as well as the end of the 2022-23 season. If he isn't claimed, he will report to AHL Toronto. The 27-year-old forward supplied 21 goals and 29 points in 30 minor-league appearances last campaign.

Noah Gregor - Agrees to one-year deal Per Chris Johnston of TSN. Gregor agreed to a one-year contract worth $775,000 with Toronto on Tuesday.
Impact Gregor earned a standard contract with the Maple Leafs after attending training camp with the team on a professional tryout. He became an unrestricted free agent this offseason after he didn't receive a qualifying offer from San Jose in June. In 57 appearances with the Sharks in 2022-23, he chipped in 10 goals, 17 points, 119 shots on net and 97 hits. Gregor is expected to occupy a fourth-line role with Toronto this campaign.
