Kevin Lankinen - Set to start Thursday Lankinen is expected to start at home against the Islanders on Thursday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Impact Lankinen turned aside 28 of 29 shots to earn a 3-1 victory over Calgary on Tuesday. It was a nice bounce-back performance after he surrendered seven goals on 27 shots to Edmonton on Saturday. The 29-year-old netminder has an 8-1-2 record, 2.46 GAA and .911 save percentage in 11 appearances this season. The Islanders are in a three-way tie for 26th offensively with 2.50 goals per game and are playing without one of their top forwards in Mathew Barzal (upper body).

Impact Raty has three goals and seven points in eight appearances with Abbotsford as well as an assist in seven outings with Vancouver in 2024-25. He might be recalled before Thursday's game against the Islanders. Vancouver also sent Arshdeep Bains and Jonathan Lekkerimaki to the minors Wednesday, which leaves the Canucks will just nine healthy forwards on their active roster. Vancouver did that for salary cap reasons, but the squad will presumably summon forwards to fill that gap before the upcoming game.

Impact This is the sixth time Bains has either been promoted or demoted in November. Vancouver is moving him around for salary cap purposes. It wouldn't be surprising to see Bains back with the Canucks before Thursday's game against the Islanders. Impact Miller made an impact in the second period, setting up goals by Elias Pettersson and Pius Suter as the Canucks erased an early deficit. This was Miller's first multi-point effort since Oct. 28.
