Impact Askarov was acquired in a trade with the Predators earlier in the day, and general manager Mike Grier didn't waste any time in getting the goalie into the Sharks' plans through 2026-27. The 22-year-old goalie is 1-1-0 with six goals allowed on 70 shots over three NHL appearances.
