Josip Juranovic - Logs assist in Union debut Juranovic provided an assist, sent in six crosses (one accurate) and made four clearances and one interception during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen.

Impact Juranovic made his Bundesliga debut after shining during the World Cup playing for Croatia joining and then transferring from Celtic to Union Berlin. And the right-back made an impact and left a good first impression despite not stuffing the stat sheet. In the first minute of the second half, he was credited with an assist when a corner kick he took from the left was headed home by Kevin Behrens for what ended up being the game-winning goal for Union. Juranovic probably has the edge in the competition against Christopher Trimmel for a spot in the lineup but it wouldn't be a surprise if the head coach find a way to use both together.

Impact Behrens had a very quiet first half but then needed less than a minute into the second frame to make an impact, heading home a corner kick from the left to scored what would end up being the game-winning goal for Union. After going scoreless through his first 11 league appearances of the season, the forward has now scored three times over the last six and was a starter in three of the last four matches. Up next for him is Saturday's visit to city rivals Hertha Berlin.

Janik Haberer - Scores in win over Werder Haberer scored a goal off his lone shot, made three tackles (two won) and two interceptions and drew three fouls during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen.

Impact Haberer was at the right place to benefit from a huge defensive mistake and sent the ball into the empty net to draw things level at 1-1 in the 18th minute, just four minutes after the opposition opened the scoring. This was the fourth goal of the season for the midfielder, who is usually a starter but has had some ups and downs as a fantasy contributor.
