Back with Paraguary Cubas will link up with Paraguay for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers and will not be an option for Sunday's match versus LAFC.

Impact Cubas has been able to start in all 23 appearances in MLS play with Vancouver during his third season with the side. He's assisted once while making 72 tackles, 40 interceptions and 19 clearances. Both Alessandro Schopf and Ralph Priso will likely get the start in the midfield against LAFC in his absence.

Back Wednesday Cubas (quadriceps) started and played the entire match during Wednesday's 0-0 win over Vancouver during the Canadian Cup Final.

Impact Cubas recovered from a minor quad injury and was able to play all 120 minutes Wednesday plus penalty kicks. He had been dealing with a few injury since the Leagues Cup break, recording just one cross, one tackle and one interceptions in two games in that span.

Impact Cubas picked up a shoulder injury with Paraguay that forced him to miss the match against San Jose.
