Matt Bersano - Joins Austin Bersano has signed a two-year contract with the option to extend for an additional season with Austin FC, the club announced Tuesday.
Impact Bersano made five senior team appearances during his six seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes before leaving the club as a free agent this winter. The 30-year-old is now moving to Austin, where he will compete with Damian Las to be Brad Stuver's backup in goal.

Gyasi Zardes - Headed to Austin FC Zardes has signed a multi-year contract to join Austin FC, according to MLS reports.
Impact Zardes was reportedly in contract discussions to stay with Colorado, but those discussions apparently never came to fruition. Accordingly, the talented, veteran forward will take his talents south to Austin, where he'll become the newest designated player for this year's MLS semifinalists. Zardes scored nine goals and added two assists as a regular starter for Rapids in 2022 and will look to increase that tally in 2023, though he'll be competing with Maximiliano Urruti and Moussa Djitte for the starting spot up top.

Hector Jimenez - Staying with Austin Jimenez signed a new one-year contract with Austin that holds an option for an extra season, it was announced Thursday.
Impact Jimenez was allowed to explore his options elsewhere but elects to stick with Austin after logging two assists in 14 appearances (eight starts) in 2022. By featuring for one of the better scoring teams in the league, Jimenez has a chance to contribute when on the pitch.
