Mats Wieffer - Signs with Brighton Wieffer has completed a transfer to Brighton from Feyenoord, his new club announced.

Impact Wieffer will be moving from the Netherlands to England following his transfer, with the midfielder set to ink a contract until 2029 with Brighton. In his two seasons with Feyenoord, he appeared 79 times, notching nine goals and 11 assists. He should be thought of as a decent player on both sides of the ball and will likely compete for starting time.

Impact Verbruggen held solid on the one shot he faced on net Tuesday, making a single save and earning his team a clean sheet in the win. This marks his second clean sheet of the tournament. He will now look to have a similar performance when facing Turkey on Saturday.

Deniz Undav - Loan expires Undav has completed his loan stint with Stuttgart and will return to Brighton ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Impact Undav had one of the best seasons for a striker in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 18 goals with nine assists to secure a Champions league spot for the 2024/25 campaign. However, the forward will return to Brighton, with his future up in the air following a career best season in the Bundesliga.

Yankuba Minteh - Makes Brighton move Minteh completed a move to Brighton from Newcastle, the club announced.

Impact Minteh spent 2023/24 on loan with Feyenoord, but he now makes the switch directly to Brighton. Newcastle saw plenty of potential in the winger, but are now having to make sales to avoid falling foul of financial fair play rules. Minteh should see immediate chances in the first team with Brighton.

Impact Verbruggen did not have his best outing in a very critical match, as although he did make three saves, he still allowed three goals in the loss. He has now allowed four goals, made 12 saves and earned one clean sheet in his three starts. He will hope to be better in their round of 16 matchup, although they are still waiting to see who they will face.

Bart Verbruggen - Keeps clean sheet versus France Verbruggen made three saves and kept a clean sheet during Friday's scoreless draw against France.

Impact Verbruggen didn't rack as many saves as he did on the tournament opener, but still made some critical interventions while also benefiting from the opposition's lack of accuracy in front of the net. A clean sheet against the powerful French offense is always a great sign and the goalkeeper will now try to make it back-to-back during Tuesday's decisive match against Austria.

Bart Verbruggen - Gives up goal in Euro opener Verbruggen made six saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 2-1 win versus Poland.

Impact There wasn't much Verbruggen could've done to avoid Adam Buksa's goal, as the former Revolution striker nodded a cross from Piotr Zielinski from very close range. The Brighton goalkeeper was solid between the posts, however, and he should remain in the starting lineup to face France on Friday.

Bart Verbruggen - Decent splitting time with Steele Verbruggen conceded 28 goals, made 65 saves and kept four clean sheets in 21 appearances (all starts) this past season.

Impact Verbruggen split time in goal with Jason Steele and clearly outperformed his counterpart in terms of shot-stopping. Steele conceded 34 goals, made 43 saves and kept two clean sheets in 17 starts which is worse across the board compared to Verbruggen. Verbruggen unsurprisingly won the job towards the end of the season, starting nine of the last 11 matches. After a solid debut campaign, the 21-year-old will likely be the full-time starter next season.

Adam Webster - Significant decrease in playing time Webster kept one clean sheet in 15 appearances (13 starts) this past season.

Impact Webster appeared in just 15 matches this past season after appearing in 22 or more matches in each of his first four seasons with Brighton. He was a regular starter from 2019 through 2023 as well, but he now appears to have more of a reserve role. That is not expected to change heading into next season, unless the club moves on from Lewis Dunk or Jan Paul van Hecke.

Joel Veltman - Declines in playing time Veltman scored one goal, recorded one assist and kept two clean sheets in 27 appearances (17 starts).

Impact After starting at least 25 matches for Brighton in his previous three seasons, Veltman only started 17 in the 2023-24 campaign. He did miss some time due to injury, but he still only started 17 of the 27 matches he was available for. He only kept two clean sheets as a result after averaging seven over the last three seasons. With so much young talent in the squad, the 32-year-old could be in for an even more reduced role next season, especially if Tariq Lamptey is able to stay healthy.

Igor - Decent season in defense Igor kept two clean sheets and picked up four yellow cards in 24 appearances (17 starts) this past season.

Impact Igor split time between center-back and left-back this past season, starting eight matches on the left and nine in the middle. He helped his side keep two clean sheets, contributing 25 tackles, 14 interceptions, 45 clearances and nine blocked shots in over 1600 minutes of action. It was a decent campaign in his first Premier League season, but he will be looking for more consistent playing time next season.

Tariq Lamptey - Decent when available Lamptey recorded three assists and picked up three yellow cards in 19 appearances (10 starts) this past season.

Impact Lamptey missed half of the season with various injuries, being out of the squad for three or more matches on four separate occasions. He put up some solid performances when he was healthy though, most notable a two-assist day at Manchester United in September. The 23-year-old has one year left on his contract and will look to stay healthy next season, something he has failed to do in three of his four Premier League campaigns.

Carlos Baleba - Quiet debut season Baleba did not record any goal contributions and kept two clean sheets in 27 appearances (15 starts) this past season.

Impact While Belaba did not contribute to any goals in his first season with Brighton, the youngster showed signs of promise in defensive midfield. Across his 27 league appearances he recorded 40 tackles, 18 interceptions, 27 clearances and seven blocked shots. Now with a full season of Premier League experience under his belt, the 20-year-old will look for an improved campaign next season.

Buonanotte Facundo - Decent in first full season Buonanotte scored three goals and recorded one assist in 27 appearances (17 starts) this past season.

Impact Buonanotte scored four goals -- including one in the FA Cup -- this past season, a decent return for the 19-year-old. However, it's worth noting that three of his five goal contributions came versus last place Sheffield United. Still, he showed improvement from his debut season and appears to be on an upward trajectory with this young and talented Brighton squad.

Billy Gilmour - Unremarkable campaign with Brighton Gilmour recorded one assist and kept three clean sheets in 30 appearances (24 starts) this past season.

Impact Gilmour recorded one assist this past season, something he has done in each of the last three seasons. He added one assist in two FA Cup starts. He also set career highs in shots (25), shots on target (five), blocked shots (nine) and clearances (three). Despite his lack of statistical production, Gilmour has carved out a place in Brighton's starting XI, a place that the 22-year-old will likely keep heading into next season.

Pascal Gross - Productive campaign with Brighton Gross scored four goals and recorded 10 assists in 36 appearances (34 starts) this past season.

Impact Gross put together another productive campaign this past season as he led his side with a career-high 10 assists. He also set career highs with 104 chances created, 238 crosses and 90 accurate crosses. He also added two assists in three FA Cup starts and scored one goal and recorded one assist in eight Europa League starts. With one year left on his contract, the 32-year-old is set to be an important part of Brighton's midfield again next season.

Ansu Fati - Disappointing loan spell at Brighton Fati scored two goals in 19 Premier League appearances (three starts) this past season. He added two goals and one assist in six Europa League appearances.

Impact Fati's loan spell at Brighton got off to a solid start as he recorded five goal contributions in eight appearances in all competitions between Sept. 30 and Nov. 9. However, he suffered a hamstring injury in late November and missed two months. Once he came back he was unable to find consistent playing time and he failed to record a goal contribution in his final 13 appearances with Brighton. He will now re-join Barcelona at the end of June with hopes of rediscovering his form in Spain.

Julio Enciso - Quiet after return from injury Enciso recorded two assists in 12 appearances (five starts) this past season.

Impact Enciso appeared in the first two matches of the season but suffered a serious knee injury during training after the second match which forced him out for about six months. It was a brutal time to suffer the injury coming off a two-assist performance versus Wolves. He appeared in 13 matches (in all competitions) after returning from the injury and failed to record a goal contribution. The 20-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance in his young career, so he has a chance to play an important role for Brighton next season if he can remain healthy.

Simon Adingra - Productive first season at Brighton Adingra scored six goals and recorded one assist in 31 Premier League appearances (25 starts) this past season. He added one goal and two assists in eight Europa League appearances...

Impact In his first season at Brighton, Adingra immediately became a mainstay in the starting XI. He started 25 matches despite being out for six matches in the middle of the season due to a hamstring injury and AFCON. He was tied for second on the team with six goals, all of which came in the first 18 matches of the season. He failed to record a single goal contribution in the final 13 matches of the season, although he maintained solid numbers in shots, chances created and crosses during that rough patch. With the ability to play on both the left and the right, the 22-year-old figures to be an important part of Brighton's future.

Joao Pedro - Breakout season with Brighton Pedro scored nine goals and recorded three assists in 31 Premier League appearances (19 starts) this past season. He added six goals in six Europa League matches and five goals in...

Impact Pedro had an excellent campaign totaling 20 goals in all competitions, more than half of which came outside of Premier League play. He still had an impressive season in the league, leading his team with nine goals and ranking third in assists with three. He scored five braces in all competitions including a hat trick in the FA Cup at Sheffield and two goals and an assist versus Tottenham in late December. After an impressive season, the 22-year-old will likely be the focal point of Brighton's attack again next season.
