Stefan Ortega - Brilliant in defeatOrtega made eight saves during Friday's 2-1 loss to Bochum.
ImpactOrtega received a nod as a finalist for the Bundesliga goalkeeper of the year, and showed why Friday. Despite a near guarantee of relegation Ortega has once again shown that he is a brilliant goalkeeper and well-worth a spot in the Bundesliga. In his last four matches Ortega has faced 30 shots and made 21 saves, despite an absolutely awful defense in front of him giving up high-danger chances non-stop. Ortega will close this stint in the Bundesliga next time out, against RB Leipzig.

Patrick Wimmer - Busy yet againWimmer made six tackles and sent in four crosses during Friday's 2-1 loss to Bochum.
ImpactWimmer has consistently filled the stat sheet on both sides of the ball for Bielefeld and will be a major loss for the relegation-bound side. The attacking midfielder has already agreed a move to Wolfsburg, where he will compete for a spot in one of the most promising young attacks in Germany. Wimmer will close the 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign against Leipzig.

ImpactBello came on the pitch with the match tied and 13 minutes to played looking to be the difference maker. He certainly was a difference maker, just not for the right team. Bello put past his own keeper and secured yet another loss for Bielefeld. Relegation is already a near certainty for Bielefeld, who would need a huge upset win over Leipzig next time out to even have a mathematical chance at a relegation play-off.

ImpactCastro finally found his first assist of the season during Friday's loss. The midfielder has been good at filling the stat sheet, but for the most part is well past his best. While he may have been a world-beater with Dortmund, with Bielefeld Castro has only made four starts (12 appearances), and has four chances created across the campaign. He will hop to start the final match of the season, against Leipzig on Saturday.
