Impact Assignon was making his first appearance since signing on loan from Rennes and he linked up with fellow loanee David Fofana for Burnley's first. The right-back scored and assisted once in 12 starts in the first half of the season at his parent club.

Impact Fofana was playing only his second Burnley game and followed up on his assist against Man City in midweek with a brace, earning his new club an invaluable point in their quest for Premier League survival. While he was lucky to see his second find the net, he has had an instant impact and manager Vincent Kompany must be thinking of putting him in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Liverpool.

Impact Assignon makes the switch to England with Burnley on loan for the second half of the season. The defender has made 14 appearances (12 starts) in Ligue 1 for Rennes this season and could step into a major role with Burnley as well. Assignon could make a permanent move to Burnley if he can impress on this loan.

David Datro Fofana - Assist in loss Fofana assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Impact Fofana was only on the pitch for 31 minutes Wednesday but still made a decent contribution in the match, finding Ameen Al-Dakhil in the 93rd minute for the club's only goal of the contest. This was Fofana's first match with his new club since transferring from Union Berlin, and he could not have asked for much more in his debut. He has now gained a goal contribution in his previous two matches played after scoring in his last game with Union Berlin and will hope to carry that momentum forward into their next contest.

It was a rare goal for the Al-Dakhil, with it being his first of the season and his first in the past two years he has spent with Burnely. Impact Trafford had a tough day in net, not receiving much help from his defense as he allowed three goals in a dominating Manchester City win. The goalie has now gone four straight matches without a clean sheet, only having two on the season while allowing just over two goals per game this season. He will hope to bounce back next match and record that third clean sheet of the season when he faces Fulham on Saturday.
