The winger participated in training Thursday, and his involvement on Friday will ultimately determine whether he is available to face the Crew or not.

Enzo Copetti - Recovering faster than expected Copetti (thigh) is recovering faster than expected, but he won't be available to face Columbus on Saturday, head coach Dean Smith told Caleb Adams of The Sporting News on Thursday.

Impact Copetti was spotted running on the grass Thursday, and while he won't be ready to take on the reigning MLS champions, Smith acknowledged the striker has recovered faster than anyone could've imagined. As such, he should be in contention to face Cincinnati on March 30. Expect Patrick Agyemang to start as a striker against the Crew.

Impact Vargas looks to of suffered a more seriously injury than expected and could miss the next few weeks with a lower leg injury. The good news is with Tyler Smalls and Brandt Bronico inching closer to returning, the depth chart in the attack is set to be more available, with Brecht Dejaegere set to start at right wing for the time being.

Impact If Vargas is set for a spell on the sidelines, this will cause issues to the attack, with Enzo Copetti out with a hamstring injury. He had started the first four matches of the season, recording 28 crosses (five accurate) and four tackles. Brecht Dejaegere will be set to start at right wing if Vargas is indeed ruled out Saturday against the Crew.
