Impact Shinyashiki was in the starting lineup after appearing as a substitute in his team's last match. He played 61 minutes in this contest before giving way to Orrin McKinze Gaines. Kerwin Vargas - Efficient in victory Vargas had one shot (one on target), six crosses (four accurate) and four corners in Sunday's 3-2 win against Chicago Fire.
Impact Although Vargas didn't find the score sheet in this one, he did a little bit of everything else. His six crosses and four corners were both team-highs, and he was able to connect on four of those six crosses. He subbed off in the 77th minute, giving way to a fresh set of legs in Yordy Reyna. Vargas's role within the Charlotte FC attack lends itself to some decent fantasy utility, particularly as the squad's preferred corner kick option.

Impact Swiderski had a phenomenal outing Saturday and was the clear focal point of the Charlotte FC attack throughout the evening. He had a couple dangerous shots denied by both VAR and Fire keeper Gabriel Slonina, but he was not to be denied in the 67th and 96th minutes. The brace breaks a four-game scoreless streak for Swiderski, and Charlotte will need him to continue producing if they wish to keep their slim postseason hopes alive.
