Credited with assist in draw Benteke assisted once to go with three shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 2-2 draw versus CF Montreal.

Impact Benteke was clearly fortunate to get credited with the assist, as the cross into the box bounced off him and landed on Ted Ku-DiPietro, who coolly slotted the ball past Jonathan Sirois. Benteke has been leading the DC United attack all season long and has registered seven goals with two assists so far. Plus, he's now registered three straight games with two or more shots.

Impact Benteke returned after recovering from the issue that made him miss the previous match and was active as usual up front, pacing his side in shots attempted. Accuracy wasn't there for the striker, though, and he couldn't break the deadlock. With five goals over 12 starts this season, Benteke will try to bounce back during Saturday's home clash against LA Galaxy.

Impact Benteke, the veteran Belgian striker, scored his third of the season on Saturday.
