Impact Benteke was very active as a lone striker on Saturday, but he wasn't able to get on the scoresheet himself and score a potential winning goal. He's taken nine shots across his last two games but only one has been on target, so he will hope to be more clinical next weekend against NYCFC.

Impact Benteke did not have his best performance Saturday, as he took three shots but failed to manage one on target. This comes a week after scoring versus Toronto in the opening game. He did create one chance Saturday though, but it was really the only thing he did in his full 90 minutes of action. He faces a difficult matchup next Saturday versus Orlando who have not conceded a goal through two matches this season.

Won't debut against Union Benteke won't be able to make his debut in Saturday's match against Philadelphia as he continues to wait for his work visa, according to Steven Goff of The Washington Post.

Impact Benteke had already been considered a doubt to play in this game and this news confirms his absence. He'll hope this changes by the Aug. 28 trip to Atlanta United but this will be a situation to follow each week. Taxiarchis Fountas and Ravel Morrison could continue as the top forwards while awaiting for the changes Benteke could impose on the lineup.

Impact Benteke wracked up 86 Premier League goals across 10 seasons in England with Aston Villa, Liverpool and Palace, but the 31-year-old was showing signs of slowing down last season with just four goals in 25 appearances in the competition, and he hadn't started a match since New Years Day. He is now moving to MLS as a Designated Player for Wayne Rooney's D.C.
