Alexandru Matan - Eleven goal contributions Matan scored twice and assisted nine goals in 37 appearances in 2023.

Impact Matan didn't quite crest 3,000 minutes but he did break double-digit goal contributions while also starting a career-high 33 times. There were questions about future after 2022, just a year later and Matan is one of the first names on the team sheet and is coming off a career year.

Impact Morris had the season of his career in every possible way. A new high in starts, appearances and minutes (3,122) while also adding eight goal contributions, including his first MLS goal and assist. Top all of that off with an MLS Cup win and it's most certainly a season to remember for Morris, who will struggle to top that brilliance in 2024.

Impact Arfsten played a tiny role during the 2023 season, playing just 273 minutes over 13 appearances (three starts.) Despite that role he actually provided five goal contributions, a ridiculously efficient scoring pace. Arfsten will hope to turn that brilliant form into more minutes come 2024.

Impact Cheberko wasn't too busy during the 2023 season, making just a pair of starts and spending most of the season on the sideline. He will be back in 2024 with eyes on competing for a more consistent role in the backline, especially after appearing in the final three matches of the playoffs.

Impact Sands 2023 wasn't exactly how he drew it up, as the ACL injury forced him to the sideline while he watched the club lift the MLS Cup. The defender actually seemed set for a major role before the injury starting seven of the first nine matches. He will hope to get fit for pre-season and earn that role once more in 2024.

Mohamed Ramzdine Farsi - Massive Sophomore season Farsi made 36 appearances and provided four assists in 2023.

Impact Farsi's second season was one to remember, not the least due to the MLS Cup he won. The midfielder played a massive role and surpassing 2,500 minutes, while also getting involved on both sides of the ball. One of the most impressive feats for Farsi was finishing with just one yellow cards despite his 36 appearances.

Steven Moreira - Pens two-year extension Moreira signed a two-year extension with Columbus with an option for a third year.

Impact Moreira will be back with Columbus for 2024 and 2025 and has a team option for 2026. The defender was crucial to the 2023 MLS Cup success making 40 appearances and playing a ridiculous 3,500 minutes in the regular and post-season. Moreira has one of the most stable roles in the starting XI possible when fit and available.
